Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh now i get it, the "news" annoying thing is because ppl can`t see the last post, so they put it so ppl can know what new threads were created....

No, I didnt put the news thing in (as you correctly concluded) but ill see what I can do to get it off. Give me till tomorrow afternoon- Ill take a look at it when I wake up.

Its under the forum settings in the admin panel- about 3/4 of the way down it says something like NEWS and then it has the choice of a type in phrase or the recent topics.
