How Did You Get Here?

Postby inhaltslos on Tue Dec 09, 2008 7:09 am

Recruiting new people is often the most challenging opportunities for a new forum. We are actively looking for ways to spread the word, but it is hard to find where we have been successful unless we ask.

So, how did you find us at MPL? Let us know what we are doing right.

I actually stumbled on a link to this forum while browsing someone's LiveJournal (I think it was hoplite-480, who posts as brooklynfan here). Strange because I wasn't specifically searching for a forum like this.

If we want to get the word out, I don't think loudly tooting our horn will get much attention. Word of mouth is best but unfortunately hard to engineer. So a good strategy might just mean posting on lots of other reincarnation forums with a link to MPL in your signature.

Again, word of mouth.

I posted to my LJ about how I'd met a WWII collector in a set of very random circumstances at my work, and about how I couldn't repress past life memories any longer, as I'd been doing for some time before. Inhaltslos told me some of the nicest words I think I've ever heard, "I understand" and gave me the link for these newly established forums.

si tu ne m'aimes pas, je t'aime:
si je t'aime, prends garde à toi!

Will and I hung out in college and have begun the hanging's outs again, with much coolness, imho.
